windows 10 and cd-rom

I upgraded to windows 10 and my CD-ROM won't work now. It is not recognized at all by my computer. It still has power and I can hear it starting up and running after I insert a CD.

You may want to try to clean the lens of your CD-ROM drive, it may be dirty. You may try as well to re-install the drivers of your CD-ROM drive from the manufacturer's website.
