Help guys! My pc just 3 days ago i was about to place my pc to sleep and saw there was an update, so sure i clicked update and shutdown. I wake up the next day every thing is fine and all that changed was the Microsoft Edge ( i don't know about everyone else, but i like Microsoft Edge). I used it through out the day and the next with no issues, then yesterday again about to but it to sleep like at 11 pm that day, and theres another update so i updated it. i wake up and now it changed.

The Anniversary update for windows 10, changed the start menu, with the tabs on the left and a whole list of my programs on the pc. The problem is theres no more tiles. im pretty sure there are tiles for this update right? i drag the start menu to expand and still no tiles?? and theres no mopre edge as well?? Please help

Solution
If you click on cortana and search edge, does it find it? you can right click it in here and set to show on taskbar

this might help
right click start button
choose command prompt (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter

this scans system files and may fix this behaviour
once its run, copy/paste this into same window
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press enter

have you tried to right click an app and select pin to start
