Windows 10 antivirus solution

Hi,
Currently I am using Avast antivirus free edition 2015 in my Win 7 home premium laptop which does a fairly good job.When I upgrade to Win 10 in a few months,can I keep using the same antivirus along with Windows defender?Please help

Most likely, yes. Avast usually stays current. Been using it for years.

Antivirus is usually a little finicky when you upgrade your OS. Make sure you find an Antivirus that indicates it will work on Windows 10. Also, Windows 10, like Windows 8 comes with Windows Defender so there is antivirus and antimalware built right in.
