Hello,
I recently bought a new motherboard, cpu and RAM and installed Windows 10 for my first time.
Asus ROG Maximus Hero IX
Intel 7700k 4.2ghz
DDR 4 16gb 3000mhz
And installation went problem free. I installed all new drivers from ASUS website and updated my BIOS to latest version. Installed everything else i wanted.
So lastly i configured my audio to 7.1 setup since i have 7.1 Razer Tiamat.
Bass were missing and the sound was flat. So with help from this forum i managed to fix that problem and my sound worked amazing as it did with windows 7. Installed SupremeFX manager (when i had windows 7 it was called Realtek HD audio manager) also latest version from ASUS website.
Amazing sound when watching or streaming a movie or listening to spotify.
So i figured it was time to test some games.
I started up Assassins Creed Origins, and startlogos appeared with great sound but as soon as i came to the main menu i heard a small crackling sound and volume, again like in the beginning of my audio config, became flat and without bass and also low volume.
Ii was like it changed from 7.1 to stereo on its own whenever i started the game.
So i tried PUBG, the same result. Crackling sound then changed to stereo.
I tried couple more games and it was the same with all.
Ive had this problem for 3 days now and ive searched forum after forum without finding anything that could help me solve this problem.
It is like i cant quite figure out which keyword to google as english is not my native language.
I hope someone here can figure out what my problem is and why the sound kinda default itself when starting games.
Thanks in advance.
