WIndows 10 being slow

My toshiba is having problems booting up it booted up quickly yesterday now it takes forever, It is stuck at Welcome right now.

UPDATE: It just shut down for some reason and now it is booting but still super slow
The laptop has always had problems since it was new and I don't use it for my main computer because of the PENTIUM .

UPDATE: Desktop starting to work but slowly, I have no antivirus because norton expired and now IE just opened it self.

When the PC boots press CTRL + Shift + ESC and then go to the performance tab and see what the HDD is running at (Percentage of use and Average Response Time)

UPDATE: (again) Windows 10 thinks that the battery is low even though it is at 84%, Starting Windows Defender scan.

It is running at 100% like it always does.

Do you have a Windows 10 CD?

The only thing I can think is re format the drive and re download windows.

It also opens three internet explorer windows when I log on that give me a error saying they can not be displayed that go to res://aaResources.dll/104

UPDATE: Disabled Amazon extension.

You need to run a good virus scanner: https://www.malwarebytes.com/
Norton is pretty bad.

Yeah like @James Mason said it seems more like a virus thing, use a antivirus to scan, by the way I despise Norton. @James Mason recommends https://www.malwarebytes.com/ I would also use malware bytes.

Hey man,

I had the same problem with my HP. Turns out it was my hard drive that was corrupt. Maybe get your hands on a different HDD and swap it out and see if it changes anything.

Yeah there are a couple things it can be. HDD and Virus seem most logic-able.
