Question Windows 10 blackscreen before installation

Hello. So i've been trying to install windows 10 on my laptop. In the beginning i could enter the setup but it wont let me format the partitions so i couldnt install windows. After researching i tried to partition it through cmd, that didnt work either, after trying to format the disk the process would go to 100% then it would tell me the command is wrong, after that i just shut down the laptop by holding the power button. Now when i try to intall windows it wont enter the setup. So the laptop boots from the dvd then it asks me to press any key to boot from it. Then the Asus logo appears but then it just goes blackscreen. i've waited 2 hours and nothing. I ve tried the dvd on another pc and it enters the setup with no problems so the dvd with windows works fine. Also previously when i tried installing windows the proccess itself was extremely slow.
Could this be a hdd problem or perhaps a RAM one?

Ten days old thread but only just seen it, so hopefully you're still monitoring it.

Could be either or neither --- impossible to say with any certainty at this stage. You have to do some testing of the RAM and/or the HDD.
