Hi guys, so basically i bought a new headset yesterday Anker Life q30 and it's a wireless one.
Everything is perfect but I can't use my microphone when it's connected to the aux cable so I found that my PC has Bluetooth option but I can't connect it to my PC through Bluetooth is there any way I can get my microphone to work with Aux or how can I get my Bluetooth to connect with it.

I don't know if my PC has Bluetooth or not because I only saw it in control panel it said Bluetooth and sharing but not on device manager or network and sharing adapters section.

PC specs

Intel core i7 10700
rtx 3080
Asus TUF gaming motherboard Z-490
16gb ram

Solution
Nope mine isn't wifi so I guess it doesn't support Bluetooth right ?
If yes then what are my options

Your board does not have bluetooth.

You can buy an addon wifi card that also has bluetooth, or a USB bluetooth dongle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BFGDPVG I would get the long range bluetooth dongle so you can get up and walk around, but still listen to what's going on or music.

Or Buy a gaming headset that comes with a wireless dongle. Bluetooth does not have good bandwidth, so gaming headsets will use a higher bandwidth protocol for better fidelity and immersion with 3D audio(you can head footsteps from specific directions).

What computer case do you have? It doesn't have audio connectors on the front...

in your notification area there will be a Bluetooth icon if your motherboard offers it and it is enabled.
you may need to go through your BIOS and enable the Bluetooth option though.

my Life Q20's MIC works fine when running through 3.5mm or Bluetooth.
make sure you've read the instructions to properly enable it and the device it is connected to.

if it just will not work, contact Anker support directly.

Is yours the Asus TUF Z-490(PLUS) model? Does it have the wifi antennas sticking out of the back? If so, the website says it does have bluetooth 5.1 on the board. You may need to install the latest drivers from the website to enable it. The bluetooth driver is a separate driver which can be found here: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboard...TUF-GAMING-Z490-PLUS-WI-FI/HelpDesk_Download/

While you're at it, don't use the default windows drivers, you should download all the drivers from this website and use those instead.

I'll have to check that bios one

Yeah I contacted their support they said that it doesn't support Aux cable for some reason so Bluetooth is the only option left

What computer case do you have? It doesn't have audio connectors on the front that connects to the AAFP on the motherboard? https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/...LUS/E17046_TUF_GAMING_Z490-PLUS_UM_v3_WEB.pdf

On page 2-16 of the manual, it states that 2 channel audio is supported, so you would plug your headset into the green connector. You would need a TRRS splitter to split the microphone out to the pink jack: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZDDTH2

Another alternative is to use a USB DAC to output to your headset: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DLY3IW8

I think I'll go with the Usb 5.0 Dongle as I think it will be much easier to set up right ?
