Hi guys. I want to put a Seagate 4tb sshd in to my PC as a boot drive so I can install Windows 10 Pro when it's available. But, as I recall, Windows 7 max boot drive space without partition was 2tb. Does Windows 10 have the same limitation? Thanks.
In Windows 10 and even in Windows 7, you can have more than 2TB of partition size by converting your disk to GPT from MBR. However, before converting, make sure that your computer is UEFI-based and not the legacy BIOS-based.
This post would help you convert your MBR drive to GPT.
