Just before the problem happened, my windows explorer.exe had hung up so I opened task manager to restart it using the delete key, but instead of restarting the process, it ended my explorer.exe leaving an empty black wallpaper with my taskbar still there. So I decided to restart but when my computer booted, I saw a black screen with no cursor, and no taskbar along with a task manager. I couldn't input anything since I saw nothing at all. I'm assuming that my explorer.exe was damaged and was wondering if there is anyway of fixing it without resetting my computer. And on top of that, I had tried resetting my drive from my windows disk but it said I had ran into an error while resetting, so it seems I am in a bit of a loop.

Yes, but when I used it as a repair disk and error occurred while trying to reset my drive.
