Windows 10 BSOD 'Kernel security check failure' problem

I did a windows reset on my PC, keeping my files and settings, due to not being able to log into my user, since each login attempt would lead to a black screen. Before this problem, while I was still able to log into my user, my start menu stopped working completely. The reset solved all this, but 30 seconds after logging into my user after the reset, I got a blue screen of death with the error code 'Kernel security check failure', and the PC restarted. I would like to prevent further complications, so is there a way to prevent this from happening again? And why would this occur directly after resetting windows and installing it again?

The next time I switched on my PC, on the page with the loading sign, it said 'Scanning and repairing drives'. This was followed by a blue screen saying 'Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC. Press advanced options to try other options or shut down to turn off pc', as well as the pathway to a logfile. I have had this happen to me 3 times already in the past, and each time I formatted the harddrive and did a clean install of windows. I am at a loss.

This behavior seems like a failing hard drive. Do you have a spare hard drive you could try to install windows on instead? This might be a great time to upgrade to a SSD if you haven't already.

That would be quite strange since the hard drive is barely 2 months old, but at this point I just want to be able to use my PC so I'll probably just get a new one. And it's still under warranty.
