Specs:
MSI z170a m5
GTX 980ti
2x8gb crucial ballistix sport
i5 6600k

After my bios screen, I get a BSOD once the Windows 10 loading dots pop up. It doesn't ever make it to the log in screen. I don't think my RAM is the problem because when I go into BIOS setup, the RAM is registered.

Solution
MSI released a new BIOS update yesterday for this machine. It includes new microcode to support the new intel processors. It also includes RAM timing fixes. Be sure to pick up this update.

After you get your windows to boot, MSI also released a whole lot of motherboard drivers you have to install.

Install the BIOS, then the updates and see if you can still get a bugcheck. If you do, put the memory dump on a server and post a link. Memory dump will be located at c:\windows\minidump directory by default.

First you need to download the new bios and unzip that into a USB drive. Then boot and enter bios. Usually by pressing DEL key on power up. Insert your USB drive and look for the bios flash option. Select that browse to your USB drive and select the bios file and click update. Your done.
