I built my first computer last year and love it but I'm still having some issues. I have run Prime95 with no issues have updated everything including the BIOS multiple times but programs keep crashing on me. Mostly when I use anything from the Adobe suite (Lightroom CC, Photoshop or Premiere) but have had issues with chrome and other programs too. My current build is:

Fractal Define R5
Evga 850 G2
Gigabyte z170x - Gaming 3
Intel Core i3-6100
Samsung Evo 850 M.2 250gb SSD
WD Black 1TB
Crucial Ballitix Sport 8GB (2x4)
Corsair H60 cooling fan
GIGABYTE GeForce G1 GTX 1060 6GB
Windows 10 USB install

Is it possible that my processor isn't powerful enough to handle this types of apps? I have used macs for years and I'm used to a pretty stable operating system. Is it somewhat normal for Windows 10 to be this buggy? It just seems strange. Thanks!

Solution
Not the full profile folder, just your data folders, Desktop, Documents, Music...

Go to c:\Users\(yourname)\

right click on one, select Properties, the Location tab, Move.... navigate to the larger HDD, create folder of Profile or My Crap, open it and create another of the name of the data folder you are moving, click apply, and once done OK out and repeat the last steps on the rest

ram or mainboard would be what i would test more here, try that ram on another pc, put new ram, borrowed ram in it and try again

the crashed on me, any specific error?

you don't mention if you used the wd for storing thise games and if you ran checkdisk on it

No specific error just that windows is looking for a solution but never finds one haha. Also I don't have any other computer to test the ram in nor do I have any extra ram laying around. Do you know of a program that I could run to test that more? And yeah I mostly use the WD for photo and game storage but that was a recent upgrade and have had these issues long before that was installed.

Ahh I didn't know that ok awesome thanks! I'll give that a shot tomorrow. Also you can move a User profile folder to another drive? I assumed it had to stay on whatever drive the operating system was on.
