Hi All,
I was hoping some one could help me with my latest build, re-purpose of a machine. I'm taking an older HP and turning it into a Media PC.
HP pavilion p7-1154
AMD Chip, 16GB Ram, 256 SSD.
Fresh install of windows 10. When the PC goes to sleep I cannot wake it. If I select shut down the PC/OS go through the process of shutting down. However the power light remains on and the CPU/Power supply Fans continue to run. (24 hours and counting.) The only way to turn them off is by holding the Power button.
My research keeps bringing me back to updating the Intel Management Engine Driver, which has fixed this issue in the past on several other PCs I've worked on. This system doesn't have an intel chip so the diver won't do anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
