[SOLVED] Windows 10 compatibility report, the upgrade path is not supported

Wanted to upgrade my 10 home to 10 pro. I used the setup in windows and after clicking "upgrade" it says "the upgrade path is not supported. relauch.....". Tried the setup from the main and also inside the "sources" folder. There is no installprep.exe and setupprep.exe in the sources folder also. Tried to run both setups in compatibility mode for win 8,7,vista. Also renamed the iso folder and iso file with no space. I can't find anymore fix in the internet, so does anyone know how to fix this?

Unless you have a windows domain, or a few other unusual use cases, Windows PRO is no better than Windows Home.

Clean install (to an empty partition) instead of trying to upgrade through existing Windows. Back up all your data first.

However, I would question the wisdom of upgrading to Pro anyway, unless you have a very compelling reason to do so.
