If this adapter I have isn't good for windows 10, which is? (it can also be a usb, if you want to suggest)

Have you tried re-orienting the antennas? How about an antenna extension cable that will allow you to raise an antenna up higher or otherwise move up and about. Or just for testing, raise the entire case up and test for awhile. Just the one computer or do other devices have problems? What about other wireless networks in your area? Could be a congestion problem. Or possibly some source of interference. And do not forget the router/wireless modem end. Check that its connections are all fully in and snug.
