Windows 10 start crashing randomly. I don't know why, I tried factory resetting a few times, didn't help. Please help
My specs are
gtx 1050 2gb
i7 7700hq
12gb ram
Thanks !!

Could you post models of you components including motherboard and PSU.
Do you see any error codes?
You could check the 'Even Viewer' if they're not displayed when Windows crashes.

oh, i have a laptop and the PSU came with it. and my motherboard is... well I don't know.
EDIT: yes I got an error code, VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGMENT_INTERNAL

on plug in, and I just had to update my PC with the windows updates and then it started doing problems. it had a different software, the basic display driver, and my gtx 1050 didnt work.

Did you install software drivers or Windows updates installed them?

The HP Omen has dual graphics, Intel and nVidia and it comes with the drivers installed and working from manufacturer.
The Intel graphics is used on daily usage but the nVidia GTX 1050 take over on demanding applications and games.

If you want the GTX 1050 to be the default GPU, then use 'nVidia Control Panel' to select the preferred GPU for a specific program.

yeah both of them didnt work but i didnt think the intel graphics gpu was important. and windows update installed them

haha yes, it got away, also how do I fix that if it happens again ?

Lets hope it doesn't.

-You could go to the Device Manager and revert back the drivers.
-Also. check the drivers version and keep a copy of them and you could install them manually.
-Create a system restore when your system is working at is best...in case you want to revert changes.
Make sure to always keep your files backed up.

okay.. uhh.. easy way to fix it? xd
