Windows 10 Creators update crashes when Alt+Tabbing

I was playing overwatch and was messaged on discord, naturally I attempted to alt+tab out and see what was going on. When I pressed alt+tab windows froze and became unresponsive, not even alt+ctrl+del did anything. It was fixed by a hard reset, and it happens any time I alt+tab out of overwatch or any game. Is there anything that could be causing this?

specs:
i7-6700HQ
16GB RAM
GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
1Tb HDD+ 128GB SSD

windows version:
15063

try Ctl-ALT-Tab instead, I get the same issue when play COD , CLT-ALT-TAB doesn't crash it

seems to work for now, I'll run a disk check and defrag my SSD and HDD later I guess. Thanks for the tip!
