I am trying to download a game from the windows store, but i dont want it to save to my default C drive because I dont have much space... trying to switch the path using these steps: http:// but its not allowing me to change permissions. Even tried running editor in admin. anyone know how else i can change the path? or how i can set the permissions correctly?

Apps and games off the store install to a different download location. Up until the Anniversary edition you could change it by going to settings/system/storage and choosing where new apps will install to, but as I said above, since the update it no longer lets you install games to any drive apart from C drive. Even if you change it in this screen.

I don't get why the default save locations here don't match the library locations in file explorer, you shouldn't have 2 places and if you do, they should agree. All my libraries on different hdd but according to this storage screen, everything is saved on C.

Settings menus need more work.

I already gave those directions upthread but they may not work.
