[SOLVED] Windows 10 deselecting windows and minimizing games randomly

So I am having a weird issue currently. It recently started happening a month or two ago.

Randomly my computer will deselect whatever window I am using, deselect the area I am typing in, and minimizing full screen applications/games.

It appears to happen every hour or two every day. I checked event viewer but unsure what might actually be happening.

If anyone has any tips or something to check or look out for. I am all ears so I don't have to reformat my computer.

tried running Malwarebytes and see if its malware? https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

Could look in scheduled events and see if anything obvious

Yeah I started windows up without anything on startup and still happened, ran malwarebytes and nothing came up, did a check disk scan and fixed some corrupted files. After all that it still was happening.

I did update to windows 1903 and it hasn't happened after playing an hour of a game so will see if that did anything.

Whatever cause was, was fixed by a windows update.

I haven't had much time to use the computer due to working a lot but so far I have not noticed. Thinking the Windows 10 update fixed whatever windows issue I was having.
