I upgraded to Windows 10 and had some issues with my USB ports. The system boot perfect to the desktop but when I tried to login my surprise was I had no pointing arrow from mouse and a disconnected keyboard. After some troubleshooting I found out the if I boot the system with my WD My Book (I guess is the Essential series 1 TB USB) connected none of my USB ports work. If I disconnect it Windows 10 boots normally with all the ports working. After login I can plug the external drive. Windows recognized it and I can using normally. I updated the WD software. I have the latest firmware. No other info in WD website. Any body can throw a light here?

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX v.1 Desktop With Windows 7 I didn't have any problem. This is the big 3.5 My Book External USB 1TB HD the first models that came like 5-7 years ago or so.
