[SOLVED] Windows 10 doesn't recognise HDD on installation

Hi guys I have a very strange case that I need help with. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I purchased a new Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-77UC from Amazon that came without an operating system.

Due to a convoluted reason I ended up installing Ubuntu. But I wanted Windows 10. So I eventually downloaded Windows 10 iso from the Microsoft website and tried to install it but when the installation program went to the part to select disk to install Windows however there was no HDD recognised.

I have tried the following solutions.
1: used Command Prompt from the installation program, tried diskpart to clean but diskpart did not recognise the Hdd either.
2: installed Hirens Boot CD on a USB stick. Loaded up the program and used Disk Genius, EaseUS partition manager and AOMEI to wipe the HDD clean it and reinstall the partition. After a restart the windows installation program still didn't recognise the HDD.
3: Whilst in the Hirens Boot CD operating system the HDD is recognised, so I tried to install Windows whilst in there. This time the installation program recognises the HDD, and I can delete the partition, format it and create new partition. Windows then installs but when it does its first restart I get a blue screen error that says "Inaccessible_Boot_Device"

At this point I've no idea what to do going forward.

As I said any help would be much appreciated.

What storage device is it?
SATA hdd/ssd? NVME ssd?

Try loading storage drivers during installation of windows.
Intel RST driver for SATA device
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/8614

Or NVME driver for NVME drive
Get it grom Gigabyte windows usb installation tool. Extract and find NVME driver.

Solution
That's what I thought it might be. I have not got much experience with installing drivers on an SSD but I'll follow those links and try that method.

Is there a way to find out if the SSD is a SATA SSD or NVME SSD without opening it up? If I can't fix the problem I'll send it back to Amazon.

Thank you for your fast response. Very kind of you.

I have found the SSD model. It is:

NVMe HFM512GDJTNI-82A0A

I will locate the drivers from the link you provided and hopefully and try and install them and hopefully that fixes it. Many thanks for your advice and help.

Fixed. I downloaded the drivers from the Acer website actually and the SSD showed on the windows installation screen after using the windows instalation tool to install them. Very happy.

Again, thanks again for the advice.
