windows 10 doesn't update

i can't update my windows 10. i clicked on update and restart but when the computer opened again, a notification popped up says windows need restart to update. i did it again but still thee same problem. i chose update and shut down, then turned it on but still the notification pops up. please help.

The OS build number... I had windows 10 (build 10248) on my desktop PC and experienced the same problem as you did. But mine was worse... I clicked the update and the PC cannot download anything

Try reinstalling the OS... I did a reinstall by upgrading my current build into a newer build
