Windows 10 don t let me install it on my IDE hard drive

When i go to select where do i want to install it tells me that "windows can t be installed to this disk. This computer hardware may not support booting to this disk . Ensure that the disk s controller is enabled in the computer bios menu " . Please help me fast

what is your motherboard and hdd brand/model names?

The motherboard is a gigabyte ga-ma770t-ud3 and the Hard disk is a seagate 80 gb IDE

Buy a SATA HDD for the Windows install, use the IDE one for storage, backups etc.

I wanted to use this hard disk to put my windows on it and i have another external hdd for the others . Can t i make anything to solve it ?

windows 10 installer doesnt support your motherboard.
but you can try to do the following in the BIOS :
* change SATA mode to AHCI
* change Boot mode to disable CSM/enable UEFI depnding on your BIOS
* disable Secure boot (ignore this if you cant find it)

try to install win10 again. even if you do successfully install your win10, beware that not all your devices may have compatible drivers for that OS. you can also try to install win8/8,1 drivers coz some may work on win10. if it doesnt work, set the BIOS back to CSM enabled/enable legacy/BIOS in Boot mode. and install win7 instead.
