Hello guys,

I turned my PC today on and started PUBG. Then I noticed my CPU Clock was fixed at 4.6 GHz so I restarted my PC because I though it was a bug. But same thing keep happening. I went into the Bios and changed the CPU Clock and everything seem to be working fine agian until i noticed as soon as I started PUBG my clock was changed again to 4,6 GHz . For some reason Wondows keeps changing my Core Clock to 4,6 GHz and Energy Profile to Performance. Any suggestions??? i dont want to reinstall Windows agian and my last restore ponmt is 9 Months old...

thnxs in advance

what are specs of the PC?

windows can't just change settings so it has to be a program at startup causing it.

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.
