When will Windows 10 become like Windows 7?
Its too immature .
I dont think it can ever beat 7 . It may become the best but i dont think it will beat 7.

MS Claimed that Windows 10 is their final OS .
But what about the end of life for windows 10?
It completely ends around 2025.
So what after that?
They told there's 10 is the final.
So what will MS do after 2025.
End The Windows Series and start something new?

Anybody knows about this?

It doesn't seem clear what's happening there.
MS said they're not going to make another version of windows, but I seriously doubt that's even possible.
Surely next generation hardware will require the next generation of OS.

Microsoft currently thinks it can get away with just updates to the OS...

Microsoft currently thinks it can get away with just updates to the OS rather than replacing the OS with a new version. To complicate things, they aren't giving version numbers, just names.
For example, the last major update was called "Anniversary Update". Seriously? Imagine if you want to buy software but it says on the box "requires anniversary update or later". That means nothing to me.

Anniversary Update was code named Redstone and for 2017 they are planning Redstone2 and Redstone 3, but who knows what public names they will get. The most understandable would be to go alphabetically, so users can determine if they have the required OS sub-version. .e.g Redstone2 = Bloody Update and redstone3 = Crappy Update. That would really make life easier.

So, it looks like MS is going to keep the windows kernel and driver infrastructure the way it is for as long as possible, while only updating components of the OS. New games will probably only specify the required Direct-x version, while hardware will specify what release (e.g. hardware designed for windows 10 requires Redstone 2.) is required.

That's all fine for now, but who knows what MS's going to do with the future generations of hardware.

I thought they selling Win 10 as a Windows as a service type thing and since we not close to 2020 yet I am not concerned. I expect they will announce something before then.

They release a new version of Windows 10 every 6-8 months so while we don't have to pay for it, its not like it doesn't exist. I know they update the media creation tool at same time so only versions that might have old builds would be Windows USB bought in a store a year or so ago. And they are easily updated to latest version via windows update or going to the Media creation tool page and pressing Upgrade now button.

Anniversary edition was build 1607, you don't need to make additional terms for something it shows in win 10 if you look for it. Some Graphics cards already require you to have 1607, GTX 1080's aren't recognised by the previous versions. Thats hardly MS fault, the cards didn't exist last November.
