[SOLVED] Windows 10 erratic behaviour

Hi, A few days back my PC running windows 10 pro got deactivated for no reason(no hardware changes were made) but the funny thing is that my background isn't black and I AM RECEIVING ALL THE WINDOWS UPDATES. This is something that has never happened to me before. Any help would be grateful.

Unactivated Windows 10 install gets all the normal updates.
And it won't automatically display a black desktop.

As asked above, where did this license come from?
When was it first installed?
