Sorry in advance for the long post but i'm so frustrated and annoyed so bear with me on this one , you can skip to the end if you want to skip my thread on microsoft forum

Hey guys, i already asked the microsoft community:

Hello, I have an HP envy Touchsmart 15 J series had it since 2013. When i Upgraded to Windows 10 from 8 i rarely experienced trouble until an update that happened somewhere around February, at first I thought it was solvable at the next update however it never was solved.
Just now I closed my laptops lid and reopened it minutes later to resume my activity and The Explorer Freezes if i restart task, it fails to start properly and all icons on desktop are gone, some folders are inaccessible and it takes long time to open any file or folder
Also windows settings such as update theme do not open.
Here is the log of my past events

And the first reply was this:

Hi Ghady,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.
I understand how annoying it can be when things go out of our hands. Be rest assured. We are here to help.
Install all Windows pending updates and check. Restart PC to make changes.
Here's what you can do.
1. Let’s use the System File Checker (SFC) tool to see if it can find any missing or corrupted system files. If so, it will attempt to repair and/or replace them. Follow these steps to run an SFC scan:
Press Windows + X on your keyboard.
Select Command prompt admin.
At the command prompt type “sfc /scannow” (no quotes), and then press ENTER
Restart the computer and check.
Press Windows key + X
Click Command Prompt (Admin)
Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these one at a time : (Hit enter after each)

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
If the issue persist, your current user profile might be corrupted. So you may create a new user account and check.

Hope this post helps. Get back to us for further queries. We are happy to help!

I tried what they suggested but no luck, tried to create a new account got another error that says:
"The User Profile Service failed the sign-in User Profile cannot be loaded"

a deeper research lead me to having a corrupt Default User Account, and corrupt current user account. after migrating from W8.1

Could this be the issue or is there something else, the freezes started to happen somewhere around February 4th any update that could have caused it ? Had W10 since july

cortana is already disabled it won't enable because of regional reasons

If this happened to me, I'd restore from a current full system backup I made. If you don't have one, you could try System Restore, if you enabled it after you upgraded. If you have neither, consider this a learning experience why you should always make backups, especially before making system changes. If that's the case, save any data you don't want to lose, then reset to factory settings.

Well I was hoping for a fix and not the obvious IT bypass that i used to give when i was working as an IT. And frankly a system restore is not a good fix since i already did that and the error still occurs my furthest restore point is just before windows 10.
