I just installed windows 10 on a new drive after my last drive died, but I’m stuck trying to update it, the feature update version 22h2 will get to 100% and then install other updates, then it requests a restart so I do, and when it restarts I go to check to further updates and it goes through the cycle of 22h2 again - it keeps doing this and I’m not sure what to do from here

How would I. Go about this? I’ve tried the troubleshooting windows update, I’ve done the thing then sfc, but it just won’t fully install
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/status-windows-10-22h2 : this is the link to the Microsoft website directing you to the update. If you can find out the version numbering of the update or if you want to install a version more further than that than it's there. I've done it before like you just had; an update cycle I call it than just pause the update and force it. Also I meant by numbering I mean like: KB5019980 or so on...........................food for thought

On a working pc, one where windows update currently works, download the media creation tool - the 2nd link here - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
Use it to create an Installer on USB
Once its made, put it in the PC that won't update and open File explorer
navigate to the USB and run setup.exe
this should offer to update current PC.
Accept this and it should restart and install 22H2.

You should only need to install once, it should replace the current install. Sounds like windows update is borked.
