So my desktop is currently in pieces waiting for the arrival of an RMA mobo. Meanwhile I am using laptop for light gaming and day to day tasks. Something that is immensely bothering me is inside of my downloads folder in file explorer there seems to be some sort of "last used" display ordering. To my recollection I never had this on my desktop. I cannot for the life of me find the setting to disable this. It's probably something so simple but it's killing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I circled the things I am talking about.

The grouping by Date in the Downloads folder was introduced in Version 1903.

Since Downloads was always intended to be a temporary way station for material "to be filed later" a great many people wanted to find what they'd downloaded most recently, hence the date sorting.

Traditore gave the answer for reverting it to an ungrouped arrangement sorted by whichever column you choose to sort on.
