windows 10 freezing when idle or light tasks

hi i installed windows 10 a few month ago and all was good for a few weeks and all of a sudden i keep get freezing when left idle or light tasks.

was quite bad to start with i.e would crash a min or so after start up then sometimes would crash on loading screen. now its when left idle for 5-10 mins or light tasking.

if i put youtube on or play games its fine for as long as im on them. really weird.

pc is custom and less than a few months old.

specs not that it really matters,

amd a4-6300 cpu 3.7ghz
nvidia gtx 750 2gb oc (not ti)
4gb ram (zeplin ram i think its called)

Nvidia has a reputation of not playing well with Win 10. Update your 750 driver from their website. There is a good chance that will fix it. If it doesn't keep going down to the next lowest revision and try that. When you find one that works, uninstall it and do a clean install, that will clear up any leftover garbage that could interfere with it.
