I have just purchased a 250gb ssd, 500gb ssd, and a 1tb hdd for an upcoming build. I would like to install my OS on the 250gb ssd, all games on the 500gb ssd, and downloads, videos, music, etc. on the 1tb hdd. If I do this will I be creating a problem with so many different file locations?

Also if I install games to the 500gb ssd, will all the data files, including mods also install there automatically, or do you have to manually do this? Would hate to have my 250gb ssd fill with mods and app data when I purposefully installed all my games on a separate drive.

I already do the same thing you are planning to do. it is best for games to be on a separate drive as they run smoother and in some cases faster..... as for updates and mods, most will find the directory they belong in , a few you need to show the way.

I was just worried that if I had "My Documents" etc., stored on the HDD, and games on the other SSD, something might get lost in the mix. Thank you for the info, good to know it works with more than 2 drives.
