Hello. As far as I understood the game mode disables other things while playing. However does it sets the game’s CPU usage to high Priority? as for example on windows 7 I manually could set cpu usage of a game to higher priority through task manager, is it basically what the game mode does automatically other than delaying background updates and such.

-irrelevant-

Game Mode changes things in some fuzzy fashion, allocating specific CPU cores to the game and leaving other cores for the remaining processes, and likely altering priority levels. Microsoft is a bit nebulous on what it's doing right now, and there are 'planned additions' to Game Mode in the future.

nowhere can i find specifics. It says it gives more resources to games but not what - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/desktop/gamemode/game-mode-portal
