So basically I am planning a new build when GPU/memory market come back to reality.

I am upgrading a dell with case, psu and 1080 6gb sc I bought.

I was thinking though I have to buy windows 10 when I complete the build and saw it has gaming mode.
Anybody know what difference this would make to my setup of an I5 4790, 8gb ram and 1080 6gb. Its going to be 1080 gaming on a single TV. All videos I see are them testing it on a high end 1080ti machine, no low end machines.

I plan on buying win10 in a few months anyway and thought I could buy retail version and use it now then move it over to the new build.

If anyone knows please do tell the results

It gives you like 1-2 more fps if lucky. Usually it doesn't do anything...

Also when you activae windows the key is bound to said motherboard. To unbind it you need to contact microsoft about that.
