before i reformat my pc, i have a genuine windows 10 that i got for free a long time ago.

now, i reformat my pc after a long time but it seems i dont have a genuine product anymore.

how do i retrieve it back? i already login my microsoft account

Was it linked to your MS account?

If you received a message like "unable to activate at this time", it may not be an issue. Sometimes the Windows Activation Servers need a few days to verify the license.

they offer windows 10 free a few years ago.
yes it is ilink to my ms account

i dont know what happen but it seems it activated itself on its own

Or use that CD which you have got during buying the PC/Laptop, from there you can do it
Or download the OS online & put the product key
