Hi Everyone;

I'm sure the fix for this is easy or I'm missing something basic. I just upgraded from Windows 10 on my MSI laptop.
For some reason my laptop refuses to connect to all "known" WIFI spots I had before the upgrade. When I click on my connect to a WIFI spot icon all networks show up except for all the known WIFI spots I had before. They are still there under familiar WIFI tab - but my laptop wont connect to them. On the flip side I can connect to unfamiliar WIFI spots.... what the hell is going on....

Hello B-Dizzzle

I was wondering if you already tried deleting the profiles of the familiar Wi-Fi networks on your Windows 10 computer? If not yet, you can follow the steps given below to get it done:

> From the notification bar in the bottom-right corner of the screen, click the Networks icon.

> Go to Network settings.

> From the left pane of the NETWORK & INTERNET window, ensure that Wi-Fi is selected.

> From the right pane, click Manage Wi-Fi settings.

> From the Manage known networks section on the next window, click to select the familiar Wi-Fi network.

> Click Forget from the bottom.

> Repeat the above steps for all the familiar networks.

> After this, connect to the Wi-Fi network of...
Windows 10 can connect automatically to known wifi networks. Are you sure that you are not connected or just that it doesn't show up in the wifi tab? Unless you have set to manually connect to a wifi, windows 10 will do it for you if it is a known network.
