Windows 10 hard drive used as external

Laptop with Windows 10 was damaged. Now unusable. Trying to use this drive as external to off load files. It shows up in file explorer but i cannot view any files. When i try, it does not respond.

Maybe the hard drive was damaged too. Try it in a different computer & see if that makes a difference.
