Windows 10 help

Hey everyone I'm currently building a new pc and I've got to the os selection and I was told by a few people that windows 10 will not allow over clocked cpu should I just get 8.1 or what thanks in advance

You were told the wrong thing. Use Windows 10. It allows overclocked components like any other operating system.
