Windows 10 icon no longer on PC?

For some reason, I no longer have the "Get Windows 10" icon on my desktop PC. I reserved my free copy of windows 10 on my Windows 8.1 laptop (which uses the same windows account as my PC), so is it possible that this reservation removed the icon on my PC? I hadn't been on my desktop in over a week, and I am fairly certain that my computer is up to date. Any suggestions? Or does the reservation I made on my laptop apply to my PC as well?

wouldnt worry too much you will get it through windows update any way

reserving it is just a marketing ploy to make it seem more exclusive
