Hi, i format + reinstall my windows 10 software a few times, then i read online it can damage your hard drive. I am sort of paranoid, how do i know if my laptop is okay since it's kinda costly.

Wherever you read that is simply blowing smoke, or you misread it.
Your laptop is fine.

Now...if you had an SSD, and you were doing a full wipe and reinstall, 3 times a day, every day, for a year...then you might to start to see issues after a couple of years.

This is exactly right. There are no worries for a normal clean install a few times a year.
