I just got a new pc. I am using a practically new ssd 500GB. I wanted to install Windows onto it from a USB stick. I tried that and it said I have to change the partition to GPT. So I did that in the CMD. After that it let me install windows on the SSD. But when my computer restarts to finish the setup it shows up with the install screen again. And yes, I did unplug the USB.
Sorry I see XMP now it says XMP disabled, I have enabled it now. Also my ssd doesn’t show up in boot priority unless I am in legacy mode. But when I am in legacy mode it doesn’t let me download windows to the ssd. It just says can’t install windows on this drive. Without any context. I tried converting it to mbr, cleaning it, formatting/deleting and renewing it. Also when I go into legacy mode it is the only partition that shows up.
