Windows 10 Installation Media Fault?

Hi there, i am installing windows 10 without a disc via installation media. I downloaded the following media from microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

But when i burned the ISO file to a disc and inserted booting from my CD/DVD Drive it just says "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media and press a key"

It is set as the first boot device and is a brand new disc inside the drive. I have checked all cables and still nothing.

Any ideas? Thanks.

try putting it on a memory stick and installing off that...
as it may be your dvd has write errors.

I have already tried that yesterday sorry, it doesn't boot from that. Thanks.

Try burning the ISO to a new DVD using the slowest speed. I often run into reading errors when burning the image to a disc at the devices rated write speed. Also, what software are you using to burn the image?

I am using just the stock DVD Disk Burner that is built into your pc and how do i set the lowest write speed? I am good at building PC's but run into issues with software problems! Thanks.

You need to use an actual image burner program like ImageBurn to burn the ISO. You cannot just write the ISO to a DVD.
