Hello I am currently in the process of installing windows 10 on my first custom built pc. Though after booting it to my harddrive and the files downloading, it then says it requires a restart. Then after it restarts nothing happened. I have tried downloading it twice now and still nothing happened. Also did I take up more space on my harddrive by attempting to download it twice?

Solution
Make sure that your BIOS/UEFI has the drive that you are installing windows on as the first drive to boot off of, or just when it restarts go to the boot selection menu and manually boot off that drive. It probably has taken up space trying to install. So when you go to install it again, just format the drives before you install to erase all that data.

Sorry also ever since after the first restart, it does not let me get back to the original bios, it instead brings me to the boot menu, which all I can do from there is install windows again, do you know how to get back to bios?

There are usually 2 keys that it will prompt you to press on the boot up splash screen. The BIOS and the boot menu. Boot menu is usually f10,11,12 and the bios is usually Delete. IF delete doesnt work see what it prompts you to press when you get a post screen.

It should automatically boot to that disk. If it isnt just go to the boot emu and manually select it. Note that it still will look somewhat like the installer when you boot off the disk, but you shouldn't be brought to the start of the installer.
