[SOLVED] windows 10 installer no drives

my old hard drive died so i needed to get a new one and it didn’t have windows on it so i grabbed a usb and put media creation tool on it and it was going fine until i got to where i wanted to put it to find no drives. my hard drive is plugged in and working.

Western Digital black caviar 640gb
and i guess i don’t know... it used to be working fine until now. i had it in an old build

Make sure the cables are properly plugged in; or try a different cable (perhaps your old drive did not fail).

Enter BIOS, somewhere you should see a list of all connected SATA devices.
