I just bought an Asus TUF F15 laptop and when I started the windows installation the touch pad wasn't working, I thought it was a windows installation quirk yet again and just connected my mouse and ignored it , but I was wrong, After installation windows does not have any driver or any touchpad tab under devices in settings and the laptop on/off switch for the touch pad is not doing anything when I press it either. I don't think it's a hardware issue since the touchpad works perfectly while in bios, but as the moment windows is butted up the touchpad is virtually non existent

I managed to make it work, the solution was the old sledgehammer approach, I had to format and reinstall windows, and this time around when I reinstalled the drivers it worked, more specifally after I installed intel I2C this time around tho I installed it after installing the touchpad driver as advertised by asus's website, the first time around I2C was the first one I tried.
