Hi everyone !

First of all excuse me if my english is bad, i'm french and i'm not the best in english class ^^

So, I have a big problem ! I recently bought an SSD for my PC ( ASUS ROG G750JX ). I just wanted to make a clean install of Windows 10 on it and format the actual hard drive to use it as a storage drive.
So I put my SSD on my computer and used a USB boot to install Windows 10 on it, it all went well and windows was running correctly. After that I formatted my old hard drive to have 1To free to store my data ( so I deleted the old windows and everything else), then I installed all the thing I needed on my computer. As i was thinking, windows told me to reboot the pc for some updates ... So I did it ... But on the reboot the PC start on the BIOS and have no option for starting on the SSD ...
If i check the "Advanced" tab and go on the SATA Configuration, my SSD is clearly detected by the BIOS but in the "Boot" tab there is nothing ! I tried to remove the old drive (and boot without it of course),I tried to change the SATA port where the SSD was plugged, I tried to change the "SATA Mode" (AHCI / IDE / RAID), I tried to restore the defaults configuration in the BIOS but nothing is working 🙁

Can someone help me please ! 🙁

Try remove the laptop's battery and disconnect from the wall for about 5 mins and then try to connect it again but this time around remove your 1TB HDD and have only the SSD in place. See if it boots into your OS and if it doesn't work for you try a reinstall of Windows 10 with your USB installer.

Did you do an installation of Windows 10 while you already had one installed on your HDD? You also seem to state that your first installation was from an upgrade path from Windows 8/8.1

Leave your SATA state as AHCI. Have you performed a BIOS update prior to running Windows 10?
