I just want to point out that this is the first time I have ever done anything in a laptop and it was going really well. Replaced the keyboard and updated the hdd to an SSD added a 500GB for that kick of speed out of curiosity, put it all together and it booted instantly all the keyboard lights came on and I was dead chuffed.

Now on to the problem, once the laptop is on for awhile Windows suddenly has an "activate windows" watermark, all is well until I turn it off/on and it can't boot and instead makes me reinstall windows all over again. I am not sure if this is because I replaced the Keyboard (lights no longer turn on when computer is booted), SSD and added a M.2 SSD.

I have considered removing the M.2 or purchasing Windows but want to ask before I make my next move.

Anyone have any ideas?

Specs:
Asus GL 771JW ( will confirm once home)
1TB SSD
16GB ram
17"
500GB M.2
