Windows 10 keep asking for default program

I have windows 10 1803 build, i assigned Sumatra PDF as my default pdf reader yet windows keep asks for default app for pdf files.
I tried to to prevent EDGE from opining pdf files through registry. now windows doesn't suggest Microsoft edge anymore, but still pop up window asks for default app. any suggestions?
 


How do you mean as administrator? I did it trough "Open with another app" and also through windows settings, files' extension section, yet no luck. even SumatraPDF settings says that it is the default app for pdf files.
 


I tried as administrator by opening SumatraPDF as administrator and changing it. i even installed a different pdf reader and tried to change it back and forth to see if it works. sadly no chance.
Th funny thing i don't have any issue with any other file extension, only pdf files.
 




Well i'm signed in as administrator and changed default PDF viewer to Sumatra within the app and OS too. however it doesn't work. I tried changing MP4 files from Potplayer to Windows Media player and it works fine no more pop-up, but only for pdf files it keeps asking.
 


It's a personal thing. but even Edge can not be set as default pdf reader. i just want windows does not ask for default pdf reader every time I open a pdf file, it's driving me crazy.
 


Sorry, what do you mean "parameters"?
