My PC started to randomly corrupt it own windows. All of this started randomly when I was chatting on discord and the app suddenly crashes and my windows started acting weirdly(start menu wouldn't show up, discord would not start). I restarted my pc soon after and everything boot up but my start menu still wouldn't show up.

I tried using windows recovery, windows startup repair but come back with an error of windows couldn't repair this PC. I did a clean format for 5 times which resulted to the same issue each time. It would randomly occur after restarting/shutting down. I have now run out of idea on what to do.

My setup:
CPU: Pentium G4560
MOBO: ASRock B250 Pro4
RAM: 2 x 4GB Geil Super Luce DDR4
SSD: Kingston UV400 240GB
HDD: WD Blue 500GB
GPU: Asus GTX750ti
PSU: Corsair VS450

(So What I implying as corrupt is that my windows would boot to a complete black screen with only the mouse cursor.)(I hope this is clear enough as English is not my main language.)

if your mb has the 2.40 bios...start with the ram. make a bootable memtest86 stick run it over night see if there any errors. if there are see if it one or both sticks having issues. run the intel cpi diag test. also download hardware info set it to logging and sensor see if the power supply rails are below atx spec. if you cant get windows installed try a test power supply. another trick is if your gpu has gone bad..pull it use the onboard video see if windows will run from onboard video of the mb.

Sorry for the late reply. I did memtest86 with 7 passes 0 error. Intel cpu diag test pass too. As for the power supply, didn't see anything unusual on hwinfo. The only thing i haven't tested is the GPU. As I had to clean format the PC cause work are piling up. Will update here if the issue happen again. Thanks for the help.
