Hi,

This happend now 4 times in one week and i'm starting to get tired of it. Every time when i delete the gpu driver with DDU in safe mode and installing
another one without the Radeon ''Settings'' software, i notice that after a day or two that the software is still automatically being installed !

I already disabled Windows automatic driver update through Gpedit.msc and also advanced settings under Windows Update
but it keeps installing the software which i dont like! It causing a lot of problems with my gpu card during gaming. Without the
Radeon Settings software i'm fine.

Is there any other way to stop Windows 10 from interfering with my drivers? Can i disable windows update completely and just leave the security updates on?

I hope somebody can help me.

Thank you

System:

Win 10 Pro 64 bit

You can pause Windows updates from a week up to 5 weeks. I suggest you pause it for now.

Do you have any software related to AMD like Adrenalin or such? That may be where your updates are coming from. If you are not sure, pause the windows updates for a week to see if it stops. If it doesn't, it is some other software updating.

No. I found a WHQL driver from january 2017 which works best on my system. During installation i only select ''drivers only'' so it should exclude everything else.

Ok, i will try that. I just disabled Windows Updates competely.
