Windows 10 keeps restarting on it's own in the middle of an application install.

Hi. I just did a fresh reinstall of W 10, and I'm incredibly frustrated. I'm trying to reinstall various applications and plugins for my music production software, but as soon as I launch an .exe file, Windows 10 immediately tries to reboot my laptop and the installation fails. This is really absurd. Anyone know how to fix this?
